Studying for the Math test.....or really?

Tomorrow was the big day. Chapter 5 math test, 6 sections and it’s about slope and perpendicular lines. I was on my ends with this test. If I failed, I’ve probably failed math. If I succeed, I would be playing Battlefield 3 all afternoon. Normal people would be studying their butts off. But instead I was playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare the whole afternoon plus the evening. Not a real helpful way to prepare for a test, isn’t it? I thought I would relax some stress off if I just relax for a while. So I did. Then I thought about what would happen if I failed this test. So I started opening my book and start cracking on some questions. But if those who thought I would actually start studying……well I did……while playing Call of Duty. Later, I decided that I should ACTUALLY start studying. That was later delayed because my friend invited me to play Starcraft. So I joined him, but the game was sooooooo long. By the time we were done, I had dinner then that’s when I started studying for a few minutes. My friend came in again to ask me to play Minecraft, but I shooed him away and went back to studying. A 1 hour or so passed away. To me it felt like it was a million years. At last I did it. That leaves 1 hour left. I was about to finish up when my friend came it and screamed, “CCCCCCOOOOOUUUUNNNNNNTTTTTEEEERERRR-SSSSSTTTTTRRRRRRIIIIIIIKKKKKKEEEEEEE!!!!!” (Counter-Strike). I was freaked out that I suddenly dropped the book right on to the floor. And it was my Algebra book, big and heavy. I was puzzled at first and then later he wanted me to play CS with him since he had nothing to do. I told him to go read his online manga (Japanese comics) and leave me it peace. Well he did……but every 10 minutes, he would come into my room and bother me. So I just ignored him and play halo instead. But of course he joined the room I was in (I was trying to get used to every single map in multiplayer). He kept shooting me which was somewhat annoying so I left and went back to studying. Then went night-time came, he was watching some random series. So I just went to sleep. (If you’re wondering why I see my friend at night too, my house is flooded and his house is also flooded so he living in his dad’s office which was my dad’s office too and I’m living there too) Before dawn broke, I woke up since my dad’s office is somewhat far away from the school. All I ate was a bowl of cold milk and cereal. I got on the van and it drove off to school. The van trip was kinda smooth. Once I arrived at school, I studied and taught some people before the test. I was so sure about the test but when the test came….. geez….. I think I got a B- on it.

Thailand's biggest flood: New ideas of past-time

As we all know, this has been one of the worst flood on the past 50 years. No other flood can compare to this. Even I, the author of this current blog post is affected by the flood. I had to stay in my dad's office typing up this blog after finding out that I had to do this. So I was supposed to talk about new ideas to invent for fun or needed during this current crisis. Well one there is no electricity. Why? Because they had to shut it down in order to prevent injures with electro-shocks. But one idea for past time would be take any floating bottles from the flood (first you have to clean it if you have running water) then try to make a small boat out of it and put it in the flood with your friend's boat, too. You can also use those bottle boats to see who will be the last one to sink. One thing that you should never do in this type of flood is play in the water or GO into the water. Trash may be floating under the flood like sharp glass shards from beer bottles. Those can inflict with a wound then plus the unsanitary water infecting the wound. So also wear your shoes when walking in the flood if you have too. Look into the water too and look out for glass shards. But back to the main topic, you can also try with some people make a bridge with some unused supply like wood and some water tanks. I seen some really neat one plank wooden bridge supported by some water tanks. Now onto the needed for the flood. Before you ever leave your house to go to a evacution camp or anything you might need these following items. Believe me, you will need them:

-2-3 water bottles
-Your phone + your phone charger (you may want to tell your relatives or friend about your current status
-Any kind protective bag to put your phone inside
-Any kind of portable game system (has to be small like a psp) in case you have nothing to do
-4-5 days worth of clothing
-1-2 books
-Atleast some rations
-Money
and....
-whatever that is extremely valuable to you; leavin at your flooded home may let it vurnable to theft.
Never bring more than 3 bags with you. This will cause an overload and your more likely to fall right into the flood because of the weight. Don't think that your strong and think you can carry than much because the flood also slows down your movement. Bring what is only required. Not your prized knick-knack collection. That is useless for your survival

If you have any suggestion or comment, please feel free to leave it below. Thank you for your time.

Somewhat Flood Related Topic

Day 10 of my life living in the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (my dad's office on the 4th floor). 2 weeks ago, I was living in my house in Pathum Thani. People were making sand-bags to prevent the imminent flood but little did they realized that all they hard work will go to waste. My mom stayed up all night looking outside and she said that the water came up from the ground. I woke up, well actually my mom woke me up, to evacuate. We have supplies and water to last for some time but we left due to when the flood gets too high and the neighborhood cuts the electricity. Many people had a swell October break. My October break was spent trying to get away from the flood. Breaks were meant for relaxation. I had NO relaxation in that week AT ALL! When the school closed for another week (to Oct 31) I thought I could get some relaxation. But instead NO I had homework here as a close friend. The I got buried under MORE homework. Saturday and Sunday were no good. My mom was making me study. Then today I checked Moodle, Edline, and Ms. Torie Website and there it is. A towering monument of homework. I tried looking up to find the top which I completely can't see. There should be an award for the teacher that gives out the most homework. That award will probably go to my Japanese teacher, Megumi Sensei. 2 days, Eiffel tower size homework. This probably had nothing to do with the flood but just some ranting, heck its related to me and how the flood affect my life, right? So back to talking about the flood. My dad apparently went to the Philippines and wasn't here when the flood strike my house which was a lighten burden since then we have only 3 people. Well not exactly. There was an extra 3 people. They were my mom's friend's family. My back was bloody (British slang) hurting when we finally got out and away from the flood. I stayed at my grandma's house in Din Daeng which was said to be one of the safest place since it was high. I been to my grandma's house before but never stayed for long. She lives in an old apartment which had some other old people living there too. The old people was always somewhat creepy to me since you need to repeat more than twice and louder every single time 'cause they couldn't hear you. But I think they were just joking around because when they play bingo (I went to watch since I had nothing to do) they can hear perfectly every single number. I think this is good enough since I got other work to do but if I have time I post another one about the impending flood.

Identity

A definition of identity would varied since many people would describe it in a different way. To me, identity is what you are in the inside and not the outside. NEVER on the outside. But to describe identity further, I need to tell you how to figure out other people's true identity. One way is to expand your friends list; how? By creating more FRIENDS!! After that, you should be interested into what they like. You don't need to like the same thing that your friends like but you should take notes (not writing notes but keeping it in your mind). Then by creating new friends and looking in what they like- you just searched for your friends' true identity.

Personally for me, my true identity is varied. I don't why but after 2nd grade, I have 2 personality. But ever since then, I been making a lot of friends. One of them we stuck together until I have to move. Since we're talking about my friends and identity now, lets not go into too much (if you're eager to know, figure it out yourself).

Identity is very important to one's self-esteem. Without identity you will be unknown. Your identity can be revealed to people by many ways. Some of those will benefit your life; and some will ruin your whole entire life. Your national ID card has everything about you on it. Your DOB (date of birth), your nationally, your name, and where you're living. All of this is YOUR identity and my too. Without identity you're nothing. Now the bad side of identity. If people get a grip on your identity then they can impersonate you; buy things using your name and do illegal things will your name. This can cause trouble but not the identity impersonator, its you that will be in trouble. So be careful when visiting suspicious places or website since they may be able to figure out part of your identity.

Metacognition? What is it? Its such a long word.... *shudder*

Metacognition  (Said as following- META-COG-NI-TION) is basically thinking about your thinking. It may seem awkward but you are actually using metacognition without knowing it. Cool stuff isnt it!? Its not? Well some people think it's cool. Some people are actually have a better "lock-on" eye sight that others. Some people might pin point things that arent visible to others. Metacognition kicks in. You are able to identify a object in a picture or view and you know its that because you are able to explain why the object is what it is. Suppose a picture contains a small swimming pool and their are little dots on it- You could say that those dots are people since people swim in swimming; with that said, the picture may have been taken in the skies or bird-eyed view. Is that enough info.... I think this is. If you have any other question please leave it in the comment section- if there is any. Any response about how this blog is inproper or its useless I won't read it.
